- Using any method, with Color A, cast on 30 stitches.
- Knit 10 rows.
- Carriage on the right, drop Color A (don't break the yarn, place it in the yarn guide or around the needlebed). Thread up Color B.
- Knit 2 rows.
- Drop Color B, thread up Color A.
- Knit 2 rows.
- Drop Color A, thread up Color B.
- Knit 2 rows.
- Break Color B and weave the tail over and under the first few needles.
- Thread up Color A.
- Knit 6 rows.
