Scrap and Ravel Hem

- With SCRAP YARN, cast on 20-40 stitches, using any cast on method.
- Knit 8-10 rows. End with carriage on the left
- Knit 1 row of ravel cord
- 1st half of hem:
- Main yarn
- Garment Tension Minus 1
- Knit 7 rows
- Knit 1 row at a loose tension (turning row)
- 2nd half of hem:
- Garment Tension
- Knit 8 rows
- Pick up open cast on from the ravel cord
- Knit 1 row loosely
- At Garment Tension, continue knitting for a few inches
- Practice binding off or drop the work from the machine

E-Wrap Hem

- With MAIN YARN, e-wrap cast on 20-40 stitches
- 1st half of hem:
- Main yarn
- Garment Tension Minus 1
- Knit 7 rows
- Knit 1 row at a loose tension (turning row)
- 2nd half of hem:
- Garment Tension
- Knit 8 rows
- Pick up e-wraps
- Knit 1 row loosely
- At Garment Tension, continue knitting for a few inches
- Practice binding off or drop the work from the machine

Every Other Needle (EON) Hem

- With SCRAP YARN, cast on 20-40 stitches over EVERY OTHER NEEDLE
- Knit 8-10 rows. End with carriage on the left
- Knit 1 row of ravel cord
- 1st half of hem:
- Main yarn
- Garment Tension Minus 1
- Knit 4 rows over every other needle
- Pull all needles to working position
- Knit 3 rows over EVERY Needle
- Knit 1 row at a loose tension (turning row)
- 2nd half of hem:
- Garment Tension
- Knit 8 rows
- Pick up open cast on from the ravel cord
- Knit 1 row loosely
- At Garment Tension, continue knitting for a few inches
- Practice binding off or drop the work from the machine
