Things to consider when measuring
- Rest and dress your swatch before measuring
- These swatches are flat ... probably not the most accurate for larger pieces. You will want to hang your swatch (and possibly add a bit of weight) to account for drop
- Most hand knitters think we are crazy to calculate out 2 decimal places. Is "close enough" good enough for you? This is knitting after all
- These swatches are both the same number of stitches and rows. Don't forget to swatch for each stitch pattern you will be using, including combinations of stitch patterns within a piece
